Victor can't wait to get rid of "the new American girl who has proven to be as troublesome as the last." (I might have paraphrased that, I'm not rewinding.)
Okay, I don't feel like typing it out, but Fabian was EXCELLENT when he was giving his speech about how the ancient Egyptians viewed eclipses. I think someone's been taking lessons from Nina about how to look an authority figure in the eye and say something pointed that they can't call you out for.
I hope Mr Sweet fucking dies. He doesn't deserve a son like Eddie.

Denby's manipulation of Jerome and Joy implies that they've failed subject in the past. So Joy's depression and Jerome's Jerome-ness, not to mention their temporary Sibuna duties, must have really caused them problems in the past.
Mara: "It's really a shame that you're moving out. We could have pulled an all-nighter to work on the project."
Willow, deadpan: "Wild."

THE REVEAL FROM THE SEASON PREVIEW. Thank you. Finally. This was driving me nuts. I hated the fact that I was spoiled by a dumb commercial, but now I am unspoiled for the last three weeks of the season, at least.
Alfie, Jerome, Patricia, and Joy have a mystical destiny because they are descended from other people on the expedition. Mystical fucking connections for the season one slashy OTPs, and my Patrome. I am oddly pleased by this.
Oh god, the episode's over, what now what now what now. The adults have the descended and now it's raining on the rest of Sibuna and jaklsjdakljwkla I love this show more than I love garlic.
