If I ever have mental energy again, I'll try to write up a proper pimping post, but for now, I'll just say that you should all watch Death Valley. Short-lived series, available streaming on netflix. If you need more than just my insisting it's good, I'll tell you that it has zombies and vampires and werewolves, porn stars, well-intentioned idiots, virgins, lesbians, slapstick humor, moments so poignant they made me cry, and some incredibly pretty people. Said pretty people might be proficient in hand-to-hand combat and/or marksmanship. idk if any of you are into that sort of thing.
(And please, don't be turned off by the fact that it's an MTV sitcom. I know, that doesn't bode well, but it's soooo good. According to IMDb, people who like this show also like Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. Because I want some gritty realism all up in my supernatural comedy, thank you.)
Anyway, it's twelve twenty-minute episodes, the most of your life it can waste is four hours.* C'mon.
* Unless you get obsessive and rewatch it and try to learn the characters' voices for fic and stuff. Which would totally be fine with me, btw.
